The majority of us prefer the free apps, because they are… well… free. We can tolerate the annoying pop up ads, and the limitations of the app because it does a basic job. But what of the top quality apps you must pay for? There’s many of those, and all of varying qualities. What is your favorite paid for app? Feel free to contact us or leave your comment below.

This article picks out some of the best ones.

App 1 – PDF Expert 5

This is a great tool to be used to edit, save, fill, annotate, and highlight any pdf file on your iPhone. It also allows you to open and edit other files, such as Office, iWorks, images and even video. It allows you to import the files from a variety of sources, your hard drive, email, cloud storage services such as Drop Box , and more. One of the key features of the software is for you to preview the changes and see the file in its intended state to ensure it displays as you want it to.

App 2 – Launch Center Pro

Are you feeling a little restricted by iOS and want to personalise and create short cuts to favourite apps and their functions? Then this is the app for you? It enables you to create a defined shortcut to a specific command in any app. For example, if you have a frequent contact, you can create an icon on your home page that when hit, either calls or opens a text message to them. You could even create a specific group of actions for that person. It goes much deeper, you could create a shortcut to open the camera up in Instagram too.

App 3 – Mileage Log

This is a neat app for keeping track on mileage for work, business, or other. Not only does it keep a record of your mileage, but it also allows you to view the map route you did, help you keep track of what you’ve been paid for, and also to separate from business or personal mileage. It also allows you to export to a .csv file and can keep track of more than one vehicle too.
